If you played heavy rain then you’ll recognize this man, as the voice and face of Scott Shelby from Heavy Rain. We’ll he was in a movie a few years back and had a scene wear he essentially plays Scott Shelby, so it’s pretty cool to see something like this that happened before the game, but is being viewed after having played it. Enjoy.

This game will be 2009′s biggest missed opportunity. Imagine the type of experience they could have brought to the world with wii motion plus, and a little bit of creativity.

It could be something as awesome as new classes being added to Fat Princess, or something as simple as random concept art they wanted to share. Either way, think of all the possibilities!

Normally I wouldn’t post something so vague, but I dig the hell out of Fat Princess and I love the idea of more content, especially ninja and pirate related content.

Normally were the ones that are supposed to be holding contests and giving things away, but eff that, what have any of you ever done to deserve cool things?! NOTHING! That’s what!

But really, I won a Japanese SNES in a contest that I entered from that Anime Expo retro games booth place that I bought those bad ass SNES games from, and It should be arriving soon. I will show you all pictures of its sexy and glorious self when it arrives, and I’ll even pop in the Japanese Mario RPG and look at its grainy muddled graphics in all of their beautiful 32-bit glory on my HDTV, haha!

Just thought I’d share my feelings of joy and bliss with everyone!

Factory sealed...and Mike is happy!

So I’m at work and Mike sends me this pic of him at Anime Expo (or AX for you l337 folks) Thursday.  He was absolutely THRILLED with this purchase.  I can’t remember how much he said he paid for it, but I do know that it was next to nothing in the grand scheme of things.  Gawd I can only imagine what souvenir he’s gonna bring back for me.  Other than that, I’m still waiting for some cosplay pics, but I reckon he will probably save those for a huge “welcome back” post upon his return.  Let’s hope he has a safe trip!  ^_^

I would drone on, but I gotz barbeque ta eatz!!  GONE!

I forgot to mention that I am working on a review for a new game that is coming out soon. It is called Daisy Fuentes Pilates. It is the spiritual successor to the Power Stone games I think. Look for that soon.

I know it is a super late pass on this but I spent my plane flight too and back from Hawaii playing Final Fantasy 3 for the DS. If you are unfamiliar with this, it is the one Final Fantasy that we never really got a remake of. It is NOT the Final Fantasy 3 for the SNES (that is actually FF6). Anyway I just have to say that I love it so far. It is super old school which is not surprising considering it was made a long time ago. It is perfect for someone who grew up playing tons of SNES and NES rpgs.

Anyway play the game.

In a move that has shocked the shit out of me, Sony had decided to throw this game up on the PSN for its Thursday update.  How random is THAT?  I mean, just look at this shit…what is this?  Imagine: Charlie’z Angelz?  I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t look twice at this game, and most people didn’t, as it did suffer dismal sales upon its release, to say the least.  But, this was before the internet was so readily available and easily accessible.  So now is the time to do some homework and maybe right a few wrongs…one of which was ignoring this game solely on that cover art.  After the break, I will reveal with this game REALLY is, and it just may shock the shit out of you. It looks like the Infamous review we put up on Gamefly has been taken down. I know it was a stupid review but it really isn’t as bad as some of the stuff on that site. Below is an actual review that is on the site that they have NOT taken down. Enjoi (like the skateboard).

Since We’ll be covering things at length in the podcast on friday, I’m just gonna bulletpoint what I’m digging so far.

• Alan wake looks better and better everytime I see something, but this trailer took the cake
• I feel like a tool for being excited about something I haven’t technically seen, but The new metal gear has be excited. I’m sure well see more about it at the sony keynote.
• I’m really impressed with how little Microsoft held back today. They really busted through the doors, guns a blazin’ and I think its gonna pay off for them as far as setting a high bar for the other guys.

Here is the first Gamefly review.

I really like how it turned out and Mike was here to help me add little bit of “stupid gamefly user” flavor. I have decided to hire Mike full time to help me with these reviews.

And so am I. I see these reviews or ratings for games on Gamefly.com for games that just came out. There are people who gave Bionic Commando and Punch Out a rating already… These games came out yesterday and today. In retaliation for these preemptive game scores I will be writing fake reviews for games I haven’t played yet. I will post each review on the site and at Gamefly.com. I will rate every game a “10″ even though I haven’t played it. I will tell you my favorite boss fights, my favorite weapons, and my problems with the control scheme. Have fun reading bullshit.

I have an article I am writing on glitching or cheating or whatever you call it that I will have part 1 of up soon. I had to make this post to say that some really good looking games are almost out. Punch Out, Bionic Commando, Infamous, Red Faction, Prototype, Fight Night… the list goes on. This will be a good few months for sure.

I also wanted to say that I saw Star Trek yesterday. I can not explain in words how much I enjoyed that movie. It was amazing. I have never been a huge Star Trek fan, I was always about Star Wars. I can tell you though that this movie was so good that it made me feel bad about not loving Star Trek more. If the Star Wars prequels would have been this good I would have left the theater crying after I watched them. GO SEE STAR TREK!
